David Pointon; Managing Director - Senior Facilitator
David is a specialist in facilitating organisational change, and the Managing Director of FAST Meetings Co., an Australian based organisation dedicated to improving the productivity of meetings, worldwide.
David has spent the last 17 years helping some of Australia’s best known organizations implement successful strategy and culture change. He is personally responsible for over 60 major projects with clients such as Vodafone, Westpac, Monash University & Ernst & Young.
David is passionate about people getting more value from the time spent in meetings, as the cost of face to face meetings grows and the speed of change increases. His facilitation style is consistently rated as highly engaging, participant centred and outcome focussed.
He draws on a diverse career background prior to starting FAST Meeting Co, including his continued leadership of DaPo Pty Ltd, successful establishment of hospitality businesses in the French Alps and Cornwall England, starting out as an Outdoor Education and PE teacher, and having been an AFS exchange student to the US.
David lives in Sydney with his wife and 2 children, and loves skiing, golf, cooking, amateur theatre and being a Dad. He is also the inaugural Chair of Way of Nature Australia.
Peter Hartman - Senior Facilitator
Peter has facilitated organisational change and learning programs for 17 years in some of Australia's best known corporations, including ARTC, Energy Australia, Queensland Rail &Telstra.
Peter has developed tremendous insight into the process of learning and skills transfer, and is a highly energetic and motivating facilitator who is consistently rated 'excellent' by client groups.
Peter is instrumental in the development of FAST Meeting Co. methods into repeatable and usable tools and processes for use by clients and other consultants.
He has also pioneered FAST' range of Peak Performance tools and is consistently lauded as a highly effective coach and facilitator in the area of maximising personal performance.
Peter's background shows an impressive climb from humble beginnings on the shop floor, through union representation and middle management, to his work now as a coach to senior executives.
Peter resides in Adelaide with his wife.
Deb Dalziel - Senior Facilitator
Deb is a passionate and energetic Senior Facilitator with a reputation for engaging and motivating participants to embrace new concepts and strive for personal and organisational excellence. A specialist in leadership and team development, Deb has designed a range of programs over the past 13 years with clients across the corporate, government and education sectors.
Deb is also a sought after Mentor who currently uses her skills to assist the Not for Profit organisation Whitelion, who seek to reconnect disadvanted youth to the community so they are living positive and meaningful lives.
She has a Bachelor of Education (Uni of Melb.), Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment, and is an Accredited Administrator of Team Management Systems. She has held key learning and development roles with Computershare, KPMG and Australia Post.
Deb lives in Melbourne and enjoys, photogpraphy, yoga, cycling and swimming and is a highly trained and active Reiki practitioner.
Rob Burdock - Sustainability Consultant

Rob is a full-time PhD candidate in the field of Sustainability Economics and consults for FAST Meetings Co. Before his return to Australia in 2008 to study, Rob spent the previous six years living, working and studying in Singapore, Beijing and Hong Kong.
Rob’s experience in Asia and Australia has been diverse and covers the fields of sustainability strategy, investment consulting, business development, global procurement and logistic operations. He has had his own Hong Kong based consulting company and has worked with The Coca-Cola Company, Coca-Cola Amatil, The Lancer Corporation and Mayne Logistics. He commenced his career as an officer in the Australian Army.
Rob holds tertiary qualifications in business, environmental science and philosophy. He has twice studied Mandarin intensively in China and continues to practice that language when possible.
Rob has pursued extensive travel to all the continents on the globe, sometimes with a suitcase and sometimes with a backpack. He enjoys trekking in the wilderness; and pushing his body to the limits at the gym, on his mountain bike, or on the ski fields. He lives with his partner in Sydney.
Onur Ekinci - Business Facilitator
Onur has a passion for people and change. He enjoys seeing people and organisations realising the benefits of change. He has committed to bringing about complex change using the FAST Meetings facilitation approach.
Onur enjoys bringing a mosaic of experiences into his work. As a facilitator he draws on his ability to motivate and encourage others through his experience in leadership roles at The Oaktree Foundation and the Australian Youth Climate Coalition.
Onur has an impressive career pedigree, having worked with OneSteel and General Motors Holden. Onur values processes and their effectiveness to support change. He supported the second largest Supply Chain Transform project in the southern hemisphere, an experience that provided many lessons in how to be more effective with change.
Onur is sensitive to group dynamics and has a keen ear for listening between the lines. He utilizes these skills to deepen group dialogue, access collective wisdom and reach alignment.
Onur resides in Melbourne and also spent time living in China. He loves a good coffee, yoga, playing social soccer and throwing a line from the local wharf .
Simon D'Arcy - Business Facilitator
Simon is a highly commended project management specialist and is uniquely skilled in facilitating learning and development, strategy and coaching and mentoring programs.
He has extensive experience in major naval and aerospace defence programs and ICT business improvement projects, working as a Systems Engineer and Project Manager in multi-national Defence, Aerospace, Aviation, and government and commercial organisations including Boeing, Virgin Australia, Departments of Defence, and Veteran's Affairs & Ipswich City Council.
Simon is a great facilitator and enjoys seeing the results achieved from well conceived, planned and executed meetings, workshops and presentations. He draws on his strengths in fostering High Performance Integrated teams, Personal Leadership application and Project Management Best Practices.
Simon has a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering and a Graduate Diploma in Education. Simon is a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner.
Simon lives in Brisbane and enjoys sailing, international travel, music and movies, and spending time with his children and friends. Simon strives to be the best Dad, husband, son, brother, and friend he can be and he enjoys learning from the people he meets each day. |
